As most parents know, getting your child to eat fruit and veg can be quite difficult.

All kids want to eat is chicken nuggets and nothing remotely healthy.

That is until now anyway!

Mum-of-one Laleh Mohmedi made headlines last year trying to get her two-year-old son Jacob to embrace the healthy stuff.

What did she do you might ask?

Well the Melbourne cook began making AMAZING cartoon-inspired dishes and since then has created all your child’s favourite characters, posting her creations to Instagram.

Using the handle Jacob’s Food Diaries, Laleh has almost 50,000 followers, and it’s easy to see why with her colourful creations.

Taking to Instagram, Laleh posted a photo of her first ever creation captioning the post: “For those who have read about our story you would know that our food art journey began with this Lion/Bear spelt pancake!

“This has been the most amazing journey - so thankyou to everyone who has come along!

“I must admit Jacob's reaction has not changed from his first plate to the detailed ones I make for him now so I encourage everyone to give it a go!”

The online sensation revealed that some of her dishes take more than 30 minutes to put together, but Laleh admits it’s worth the effort to see her son eat healthily.

As well as the healthy meals, she also creates a few sweet treats for her son to enjoy too.

How about Spongebob Squarepants waffles?

Or a Zootropolis cupcake?

The most prominent characters amongst her dishes are from Disney, so we’ve put together our favourites in the gallery below.

Which one do you like best?
