A helpful father has created an instructional video for other dads on how to install a car seat for the first time - but things don’t quite go to plan.
Jordan Watson, who writes the How To Dad blog has previously attempted to instruct other dads how to put together a baby’s cot, teach a tiny tot how to catch a ball and has even revealed how you might be able to teach your children to do your housework for you.
But the caring parent appears to have reached his limit when it comes to putting his little one’s seat in the car.
In the hilarious video, Jordan can be seen attempting to install the complicated chair but ends up experiencing the problems many parents face.
He first uses his entire body to shove the seat in the car before going off to get a hammer to try and beat it into place.
Things then take an even more bizarre turn as he comes back with a saw and timber in a bit to build the seat into the vehicle.
But in the end, the doting dad simply gives up and straps the seat to himself with rope before going off for a walk.
“It’s pretty good weather just to walk anyway so I think we’ll just go for a walk,” he says.
And it seems like a lot of his viewers have experienced difficulties with baby seats.
One commented: “I was definitely ‘That Dad’ putting in our car seat for the first time - took an hour!”
A mum wrote: “When I’m dreary eyed and moody from being up all night with a teething baby, these videos brighten up my day so much.”
