It may be a show all about finding love, but things can get hella dramatic in the Love Island villa. Let’s face it, we’re just as likely to witness a massive row as we are two Islanders getting it on.
We all know that dumped bombshell Zara Lackenby-Brown butted heads with Olivia Hawkins over their love triangle with Tom Clare, but it turns out that Zara had another villa feud. This one with Aussie Islander Aaron Waters which didn’t receive as much screen time. In fact, hardly any.
Viewers got a brief glimpse when Aaron declared Zara “the most likely to talk behind [his] back” during a game of truth or dare, but it seems like there was way more drama between the pair that was left on the cutting room floor.
During her appearance on Closer’s Love Island Secrets, Zara said, “Me and Aaron did not actually clear the air after he picked me as the most likely to talk behind his back."
She continued, “I think there was a lot that wasn’t aired of mine and Aaron’s journey. I think he was a little bit bitter towards me because I think me and Tom were really close at that point and I think he didn’t really have any connections in the villa.
“There was a lot to that. There’s probably a lot to still tell. He never apologised and we never fully cleared the air after that.”
Zara also admitted she still had unresolved issues with her former flame Tom as she discussed their rollercoaster relationship.
“Me and Tom are unfortunately not on good terms right now,” she explained.
“But I wish him all the best and I genuinely think at the moment seeing him and Samie [Elishi] connecting makes sense. She’s more his age. I think ultimately we weren’t compatible.”
