There's never a dull moment on The Jeremy Kyle Show, is there?
From screaming matches to explosive DNA tests, not to mention the occasional punch-up, we thought we’d seen it all.
But, yesterday, we were even treated to an actual marriage proposal.
The… erm… loved-up couple in question was Andy and Shannie, who were appearing on the show for the second time because she’d cheated on him with his best friend, Chris.
She also cheated on Chris with Andy - because, well, why not?
After a lot of shouting, Shannie eventually sprinted off and wound up plonking herself angrily into a chair backstage - where she was joined by her two lovers and Jezza.
But, unperturbed by his cheating missus’s ways, Andy decided there was only one course of action; to tie her down with a marriage proposal.
“Oh my god, I’m going to be sick,” gasped Jeremy Kyle as Andy got down on one knee - before manfully rushing off to stop Chris from disrupting the proposal.
Annoyed at Jezza’s reaction to her happy news, Shannie snapped: “What’s it got to do with you anyway? You’re not invited.”
“I think that’s the most upsetting thing that’s ever been said to me,” replied Jeremy dryly.
However, their happy ending was not meant to be.
A tweet from the official Jeremy Kyle account proclaimed: “Andy and Shannie have since split since the show but remain friends, they are glad they came on the show.”
If these crazy kids can’t make it work, what hope is there for the rest of us, eh?
