**It’s been a week of ups and downs for fans of The Only Way Is Essex. **
First Mark Wright confirmed he’ll be appearing in an upcoming special, and then his sister Jessica, 29, quit the ITVBe reality show after five years.
Now two former Essex favourites have revealed they’re coming back – and we can’t wait to see Gemma Collins and Amy Childs back on the show!
But, before you get TOO excited, the bubbly pair will only be making a one-off appearance for the 200th episode.
A show insider told The Sun: “It’s true that both Amy Childs and Gemma Collins were among other former TOWIE stars invited back to Sugar Hut last week for filming.
“As it’s the show they first found fame on, they were only too happy to participate on filming for TOWIE’s 200th episode and talk about how grateful they are for the chance the show gave them in starting out.”
While Amy is said to be the most successful former star, with an estimated net worth of £5 million and several successful businesses, Gemma, 35, recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and allegedly has her own reality show in the pipeline.
The source added: “I don’t think there’s any talk of a permanent return although they’re all still Brentwood locals, so never say never.”
Earlier this month it was reported Joey Essex is set to make a comeback, and the 25-year-old isn’t ruling anything out.
He told OK! Online: “I never say never but it’s a good show, I watch it and stuff still. I’m its biggest fan. My second name’s Essex, what can I say?”
