Tom Williams appears to have suggested he backs wife Nicola McLean’s shock Celebrity Big Brother antics as he hints he’s set to enter the house.
Nicola surprised viewers this week when she got very flirty with fellow housemate Jamie O’Hara despite hubby Tom watching at home.
After a few drinks the pair cuddled up together as Nicola suggested they had previously kissed while fellow CBB resident Calum Best encouraged them to do it again.
The morning after, Angie Best told Nicola she might have to explain her behaviour to Tom but the glamour model said she had no need to as Tom had cheated on her in a Las Vegas nightclub previously.
However, Tom suggested that Nicola, who is mother to their children Striker and Rocky, may have needed to talk things through with the show’s psychiatrist, something that wasn’t shown on the main Channel 5 programme or spin-off series Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
And now, Tom has even suggested he backs his wife’s naughty antics as it’s getting her more attention than the other residents of the reality compound, hinting that maybe she’s playing a successful game plan.
Taking to Instagram, the sportsman posted a sassy image of Kermit the Frog with the words: “When your waiting for just 1 story to be true. (sic)”
He added: “But your getting more press coverage than all the housemates put together 😂 (sic).”
And many of his followers offered supportive comments for Nicola, with one writing: “Love your wife. She’s my favourite. Hope she wins.”
Another added: “I don’t think she’s done anything wrong, drunk yes, acted silly yes, but that’s all.”
Three new contestants will be entering the house on Friday night and Tom has dropped a hint one of them could be him.
On Thursday evening it was unveiled the stars will have to fight for survival as part of the Weekend From Hell.
And perhaps giving the secret away that Tom could be one of the new competitors, he tweeted a friend: “@LeonKnight_ bro these housemates aren't ready for me 😎#notonmylevel."
