ITV are preparing to temporarily axe some of the more risqué content on This Morning due to the increased number of children watching at the moment.
Though Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby aren’t shy of exploring some of the more adult themes in the news – often with a LOT of giggling – bosses have made the decision to cut the smut while kids are home from school, to avoid upsetting parents.
A telly source said, "Before lockdown, producers could explore adult themes safe in the knowledge the majority of kids would be in class.
"Now most of them are back home and This Morning doesn't want to run the risk of upsetting any mums and dads."

They went on to tell The Sun, "They aren't going to avoid important subjects but they will make sure nothing is too explicit.
"Though bosses also accept that sometimes a live show means that things can happen, such as a slip of the tongue or a saucy innuendo, which often leave Holly and Phillip in fits.”

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain anchor Ranvir Singh could be about to steal Holly’s crown as ITV’s highest paid female star after she was reportedly offered a deal “as good as golden handcuffs” after her dazzling stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
"Ranvir is loved at ITV and by its viewers, she has everything that the channel needs to move forward," a source told the publication.
"There are lots of high- profile projects in the pipeline, too. The intention is that she will be one of the more used presenters. Nobody wants to lose her."
