Whoever you are, whatever your age - one of the few things that can unite the people in this country is The Chase.
The quiz show, which is normally shown on ITV at 5pm, which shows regular people putting their knowledge to the test against some of the smartest brainboxes the UK has to offer.
Hosted by national treasure Bradley Walsh, The Chase has teams of 'normal' people going up against Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty, Mark 'The Beast' Labbett, Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha and Shaun 'The Dark Destroyer' Wallace - and it's absolute essential viewing.
And in news that will utterly delight fans of The Chase (i.e everybody), ITV bosses have just announced a spin-off show called Beat The Chasers.

Official information from ITV reveals that all five of the Chasers will be teaming up for the first time ever to compete as a team against other quiz teams for cash prizes.
Host Bradley Walsh said, "The contestants are brave facing one Chaser, let alone all five. With that group of top quizzing brains working as a team, it’s going to take some beating. But I can’t wait to see who’s going to take them on."
