MTV UK have announced that their infamous reality show Teen Mom is coming to the UK.
The US reality show that originally began in America first aired in 2009 and has seen many of the teenage mums become famous, including Farrah Abraham - who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
Teen Mom originally began as a spin-off for the show 16 and Pregnant and has since had a total of seven seasons (including their Special Season). The show was also credited by a study from the American Economic Review in 2014 for decreasing America's teenage birth.
The UK version will follow five teenage mums this autumn and MTV UK has described Teen Mom UK as: "[lifting] the lid on the real stories of teen pregnancies and parenthood by following the lives of five lovable UK mums and is set to document the highs and lows of teen parenthood.
"It will show the girls taking on some of the biggest challenges and decisions in their life so far.
"From breakups and managing work/life balance, through to postnatal depression and juggling a social life while caring for a baby, no two teen parent experiences are the same."
