Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left shocked and red-faced after Shirley Ballas made a very crude comment about Kate Silverton's legs.

There's been all sorts of scandals on Strictly Come Dancing this year. First off we had the whole Seann Walsh and Katya Jones kissing business, then a whole bunch of other contestants were said to have fallen victim to the Strictly Curse, and most recently Danny John-Jules was accused of bullying.

Now head judge Shirley Ballas is causing a stir after comments about Kate Silverton's legs left viewers red-faced on Saturday night's show.

While critiquing Kate and dance partner Aljaž Skorjanec's performance on the show, Shirley delivered a very crude innuendo.

"You need to open those legs!" she told the Strictly hopeful, prompting fans to flock to Twitter call Shirley out for her crude comment.

One wrote: ""Open those legs, move a little bit more and get some stride in you" @ShirleyBallas you filthy lady!! 😳 #innuendo @bbcstrictly @ClaudiaWinkle".

But that wasn't the only cheeky innuendo of the night, earlier on in the show Shirley also made a joke about Stacey Dooley's legs during the feedback on her performance. Responding to the judges' comments, Stacey replied: “I should’ve kept my legs closed.”

One fan joke: “I struggled to keep my legs together last time I was in Blackpool too, Stacey. #Strictly.”

In other Strictly news, it looked as thought the Strictly Curse may have struck again, this time with Steps singer Faye Tozer-Smith, who has been married to Michael Smith for nine years, and her dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.

The pair were pictured sharing an extremely cosy dinner this week, with Giovanni even leaning over to feed Faye at one point. Many started to speculate that there could be more to this than just two friends sharing a meal, and now Faye's husband has spoken out.
