Strictly Come Dancing professional Joanne Clifton has hinted she’d like to become a judge on the show.

Tonight will be head panellist Len Goodman’s last ever appearance on the BBC series as he’s set to bow out after this evening’s finale.

And Joanne would like to take his place for one reason in particular.

“I would like to be on the panel. I’d love to judge Kevin,” she said at a Strictly press conference.

“I would live to criticise my own brother.”

Kevin is also a professional dancer on the show and he says he would like to see one of his colleagues replace Len as a judge.

He said: “If it was going to be one of the pros that replaced Len, I would be happy with that.

“This is the best bunch of pros in existence.

“They all know their stuff.”

However, he hasn’t been approached by show bosses to take a seat on the panel.

Fellow dancer Oti Mabuse added: “I think the production will do a good job in deciding who will replace Len.

“It is such a big responsibility because you have to be honest and true to yourself, and sometimes the dancers don’t take it well or the celebrities don’t understand.

“It is a big opportunity but I don’t think I could sit there.”
