Before Love Island, before Big Brother, before Bear Grylls, there was Shipwrecked and if you're wondering how the heck we are using those three shows as a comparison then allow us to explain.
The reality TV show, which first aired in 2000, featured two rival teams; the Sharks and the Tigers had their very own islands and had to convince newcomers to pick their island to live on.
Each week guys and gals would rock up and spend some time with both the Sharks and the Tigers before deciding which island they wanted to call home. During their time on Shipwrecked, the islanders clashed CONSTANTLY; from people stealing rations and debating who would be nominated for cleaning duties to who was in charge of building the shelter and which 'Tiger' and 'Shark' would catch fish for dinner.
At the end of the show, the winning team was the group with the most members, with them going on to be rewarded with a big pile of cash.
But what's happened to the OG drama queens and lovable contestants from the original series of Shipwrecked, which aired in between 1999-2003 and 2009-2011?

1 of 7Jeff Brazier
Jeff Brazier starred in series 3 in 2002, before he landed a job as a TV presenter. Jeff also went on to have two children with Jade Goody and has since openly discussed the difficulties of raising their two sons after her tragic death.
2 of 7Sarah-Jane Crawford
Sarah-Jane Crawford also appeared on series 3 of Shipwrecked. Following Shipwrecked, Sarah-Jane set her sights on presenting. Nowadays, you can catch the star presenting her own radio show.
3 of 7Joshua Christie
Joshua Christie starred on Shipwrecked in 2019 and since then has taken part in MAFS UK where he was mates with Amy Christophers - spoiler alert, they're no longer an item. Nowadays, he is all about fitness and also dabbles in the world of modelling.

Sophia Warden took part in Shipwrecked back in 2007 where she was part of the Tigers. After taking part in the show, Sophia was part of girl group Belle Amie who appeared on The X Factor. She is now a DJ.
5 of 7Mark Byron
Mark Byron appeared on series 7 of Shipwrecked, but you may also recognise the Liverpudlian reality star from his time in the Big Brother house during series 15 (2014).
6 of 7Chloe Everton
Chloe Everton joined the Shipwrecked cast as a fresh-faced 20-year-old, where she appeared alongside Sarah-Jane Crawford and Jeff Brazier in series 3. Since her island adventure, Chloe has gone on to flex her presenting muscles.
7 of 7Stephen Bear
Stephen Bear appeared on Shipwrecked in 2011, ten years after his appearance on the show he was found guilty of 'voyeurism, disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and harassment without violence' against ex girlfriend Georgia Harrison. He spent 21 months in prison and was released January 2024.
