The plot thickens in the Love Island 2022 x The Real Housewives of Cheshire drama that has shocked the world (by the world we mean us).
The reality TV crossover we hoped for was soon put to bed when all hell seemingly broke loose between Paige Thorne and Seema Malhotra after the Forever Unique collab between the two turned sour.
Paige has now opened up about the feud and referred to the fall out as "the darkest time in her life."
Paige has revealed that she is "owed money" and is suing Forever Unique for breach of contract.
The Islander said, "I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, I’m owed money. Like, what am I meant to do?’ I’m a home owner and I was so stressed about paying my bills that I was crying to my parents every day, saying, ‘What am I going to do?’ I was relying on that contract so much...
"I wish I could say it was a good experience, but it’s just been an absolute nightmare, and it’s ongoing."
The Love Island star hasn't posted an affiliated post with Seema's brand in 2023.
Paige went on to explain, "I did all the content, I did all the posting, and tried my absolute best to have a good relationship with them.
“I came out of the bubble of the villa quite vulnerable and then to be exposed to that, it hurt. And with Seema, I thought we had a good relationship, because we got on so well."
Speaking to OK! she added, "It felt like the darkest time of my life, and it put so much stress on my family as well – they were so worried about me."
Last year it was all Champagne and smiles when Paige announced she would be working with Seema's brand Forever Unique. Sharing a photo of them together she captioned the post, “IT’S OFFICIAL… @paigethornex X @foreveruniqueofficial 😭🤯!
“So excited to announce my first ever collection with a brand I’ve loved for so long! My party wear collection is everything and more and I’m so excited for you all to see it! Feeling so overwhelmed and grateful, hope you all love it as much as I do! Bring on party season!! ✨✨✨”.
Closer Online previously caught up with Seema and, in an exclusive interview, she opened up about the Love Island star, "Honestly, she was amazing to work with. I wanted to work with her because I just love the work ethic. You see a lot of girls that go into this show and, you know, you like people that are real, that you really can engage with.
"For me, she ticked all the boxes. She really is that sort of girl next door; very sweet, very hard-working. I just think we have a lot in common.
"I loved doing the photoshoot with her – she worked really hard. When someone really believes in you, it makes you want to believe in them. We did well with Paige.”
