Finally, after a two-year hiatus_,_ I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has returned to its Australian roots. Thank you to the patron saint of Kiosk Kev. We’d had enough of that blimmin’ Welsh castle too.
Following its long-awaited return, the first few episodes have already given some hilarious moments, but there’s one contestant in particular whose dopiness is delivering accidentally brilliant moments of comedy. If you haven’t guessed the culprit already, it’s Hollyoaks star Owen Warner.
He’s been dishing one-liners that would make even the likes of Joey Essex face-palm.

It appears Owen might be the first and only person to ever ask Boy George his name, and the moment was captured on national telly. George gave him a death star in response, and absolutely stunned ‘80s singer replied, “George.”
Viewers took to Twitter to comment. One wrote “That was so funny and we are only one hour in,” and another said “Literally spat my wine out.”

Then, after Scarlette Douglas disembarked from a speedboat to join them and Boy George recognised her, saying “She’s from A Place in the Sun", Owen responded and said, “Whereabouts?”

Another hilarious one liner was in camp when Babatunde Aleshe was quizzing Mike Tindall about how he met his wife, Zara Tindall (you know, the niece of The Queen, who ruled the country for 70 years?).
