Outnumbered: The show’s little stars then and now

Outnumbered

Here at Closer online, we love a good then and now throwback – but nothing is quite as satisfying is watching our favourite telly stars actually grow up before our eyes

The Outnumbered cast were just little'ns when they first appeared on our screens, playing siblings Jake, Ben, a baby sis Karen. They did a fair amount of 'growing' during their five series' on film, but since the show stopped running in 2014 they regularly take to their social media to show they still hang out together. Cute!

Ramona Marquez, now 17, showed off a glam grown-up look with an edgy fringe, and Danie Rochel, 19, and Tyger Drew-Honey, now 22, looked dapper in their suits.

Look at little Karen! Look how tall she is! Look how handsome Ben and Jake have become! Our minds our officially BLOWN.

How cool is it that they still all hang out together? Could our dreams of a one-off special episode FINALLY be coming true?

Can you believe it's been nearly ten years since we became hooked on the deliciously funny BBC comedy series?

The show, created by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkins, followed the lives of two permanently stressed parents with three charming but pretty difficult kids. It was almost TOO real and proved to be one of the most popular sitcoms from the last decade.

So when a possible one-off-special episode was talked about at the end of last year, we could hardly contain our excitement.

And it got us thinking, what have the stars of the show been up to since?

Jake Brockman, played by Tyger Drew Honey.

Back then, Jake was the straight-talking man of the family, his sarcasm was out of this world and his parents worried about his obsession with girls. He was every inch the typical teenager.

Now:

Tyger's a fully fledged ADULT. He's starred in Cuckoo and has even had his own documentary series on BBC3 'Tyga Takes On...', which delves into the lives of young adults today.

He also speaks quite frequently about having adult film stars (Ben Dover and Linzi Drew) as parents and their relaxed attitudes towards sex.

Ben Brockman, played by Daniel Roche

Daniel won a British Comedy Award in 2009 for his cracking portrayal of the very hyperactive and inquisitive Ben.

Now:

Daniel is pretty much off the radar (we couldn't find hardly any information and he doesn't seem to have any social media accounts, boo) and looks like he prefers a life away from the media.

But here he is looking very grown up at the premiere of 'What We Did On Our Holiday' back in September 2014.

Karen Brockman, Ramona Marquez

Then:

The sassiest and most outspoken child of all time; we still look up to her and wish we could be like her.

Karen is pretty much a little superstar now! She's took on film roles The Kings Speech, was the voice of Gwen in Arthur Christmas and starred alongside Maggie Smith in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Plus, she is super gorg now!

Speaking about a possible show reunion, writer Andy Hamilton said: “We hope to visit the family for a kind of one-off. Me and Guy, on our wall, in our office, we have a list of ideas we are trying to work out.

We're crossing our fingers for a possible reunion, are you?
