Ollie Locke has been Made in Chelsea’s most lovable character for the past 13 years – and after quitting the show in July, he says he’s embracing his new life with husband Gareth and their four-month-old twins, Apollo and Cosima.
Ollie, 36, has also been busy launching his own YouTube channel with Gareth and has just completed his second children’s book, The Faraway Adventures Of Henry Bogget.
“It’s been a very hectic few months,” smiles Ollie. “It’s a juggle balancing work with the twins, but I absolutely love being a hands-on dad and being there to see them reach all their first milestones. There’s nothing better and I feel like a completely changed person.”
Then the Celebrity Big Brother star laughs, “Saying that, if Gareth and I need a night out in Chelsea, it’s useful that our nanny can come over to babysit!”
Now Ollie – who married Gareth in a lavish wedding at the Natural History Museum in London three years ago – says they’re looking forward to an intimate Christmas in Chelsea.
He says, “We’re going to make Christmas as magical as possible with all the decorations and yummy food. I’m thinking a sort of Hook meets Bridget Jones theme!
"I’ll be trying to do less falling out of a taxi and more trying not to fall out with family members around the turkey!”
Last week Ollie was reunited with his BFFs Cheska Hull, 38, and Binky Felstead, 33, at the Lidl Chateaux Noir festive drinks – and he says they’re friends for life.
Ollie – who dated billionaire Phil Green’s daughter Chloe and Ashley James before he came out as bisexual – says, “It was a special night in many ways, after 13 years and for anyone who watched Made In Chelsea back in the day. What a reunion!
“We have six kids between us now but nothing has changed when it’s just us together – we’re still as silly and ridiculous, just with alarms for when the babysitter has an hour left!”
And Ollie says he’s now excited about the adventures ahead with Gareth and the twins – whose famous godparents include MIC’s Sophie Hermann and Olivia Bentley.
He says, “They’ve already been to Cornwall and we’ll be spending the New Year in Barbados with all the family and godparents. It will be a blast.
“When they’re old enough, I’d love to take them to Alaska to do some proper exploring and see the salmon run!”
And talking of godmother Olivia (who has been linked to MIC’s Sam Thompson, Alex Mytton, Francis Boulle, Digby Edgley and Tristan Phipps), Ollie admits she’s his favourite character to date. “Liv’s iconic,” laughs Ollie.
“She is always and forever the best cast mate. She’s so funny and sassy… I could watch her all day!”
