The boys of the villa will need to tread carefully with Yewande as she admits to Closer that her ex would call her a ‘psycho’
She may appear sweet and innocent but scientist, Yewande Biala, is anything but when it comes to boyfriends she suspects of cheating.
The 23-year-old Dublin native reveals her ex would describe her as a ‘psycho’ because she went to extremes when she suspect he’d been unfaithful.
She says, “I hacked into his Facebook twice. I thought he was cheating - which he was - so I thought the only way to know is to go to Facebook. He always had his phone on him so I hacked into his facebook!”
It’s no surprise then that Yewande has a thing for bad boys, but would love to change that.
She adds, “I find it difficult to trust guys I think that’s why I’ve been single for so long - it’s hard to open up to people without thinking everything is going to end in disaster.
“My last relationship was about 4 years ago - a long time - and it lasted for about two years. My type would be emotionally unavailable and someone who’s tall, built, athletic. But then again my idea man is someone who is genuine and honest and I have great conversation and good vibes.”

Yewande is pretty much the perfect package and has brains and beauty – starting school two years early and accelerating through school and university to work as a biologist on vaccines.

She says, “I started school at three, my mum obviously thought I was ready. And she knew the principal, so she chucked me into school! I started uni when I was 16, so I started really young and then I went straight into industry and I’ve been working ever since. So I just feel like I missed out on some experiences, and most of my friends went travelling, or took a year out. So I wanted to do something fun, something different, make more experiences. So I said, why not apply for Love Island? I applied in January and then got a call around March for an audition in April and that was it!”
But are men ever intimidated by her intelligence?
“I just kind of shy away from telling people what I do until I get to know them so they don't think I’m some type of genius or anything because I’m not!
