It looks like Love Island is finally heating up but fans were left confused over last night's episode that appeared to miss a major scene.

Cast your mind back to Tuesday evening's episode that teased Lucinda Strafford and Millie Court's arrival and you may remember that in the preview for Wednesday's episode Rachel Finni broke down in tears.

However following last night's episode, which saw the bombshells go on three dates with the boys of their choosing, viewers were left confused when Rachel crying didn't feature on the episode.

"Wait what happened to the scene where Rachel was crying in the preview? Did i miss something or?? #LoveIsland," wrote on fan.

Another commented, "Is it just me confused as to why they showed Rachel crying last night but didn’t show what actually happened to her last night? Hmm @LoveIsland please explain🤨 #LoveIsland".

A third said, "What happened to the preview scene of Rachel crying in the confessional? #LoveIsland".

One more wrote, "Sorry if I’m late or just missed something but what happened to the clip of Rachel crying over Brad 2.0? Wasn’t aired???? #LoveIsland".

Love Island fans have already seen Rachel break down in tears after Brad McClelland told her to get to know the other boys in the villa.

However all seemed fine between the pair until last night's episode where Brad claimed Lucinda is his type... despite telling Rachel the same thing when she entered the villa.

In tonight's episode viewers will see Sharon Gaffka cry after Aaron Francis broke things off, Brad 'laying it on thick' with Lucinda and it looks like something might happen between Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows.

In more Love Island news, it recently came to light that YouTuber Omer Majid broke into the villa in Majorca but luckily security removed him before he contacted any of the Islanders.

"Last night a security breach was identified and an intruder was removed from the villa with immediate effect.

"As part of our stringent COVID safety measures, the villa area that was trespassed has been fully deep cleaned before being made accessible again to the Islanders and crew."

They added that the safety of contestants "remains our primary concern".
