Much to the shock of the public, the whole Closer office, and probably themselves, Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were saved from elimination on Strictly Come Dancing this week.

Last night's episode saw Katie Piper become the third celebrity to be voted off the show, while Seann and Katya were saved by the public.

ICYMI (although we're sure you didn't), the pair have been embroiled in possibly the biggest Strictly scandal ever after they were spotted kissing down an alleyway in London after a night of drinking.

Because Seann was in a relationship and Katya married, it became probably the most scandalous case of the Strictly curse of all time. Especially after Seann's (now ex) girlfriend released a statement slamming Seann, and seemingly accusing him of previous bad behaviour.

Many people therefore thought it was a sure thing the two would be voted off, and the public's decision to keep them has reportedly angered Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood.

A source told The Sun: “There was a lot of anger backstage on Saturday. The feeling from the professionals and judges was that Seann and Katya deserved to go — but they weren’t even in the bottom two.
