Katie Price has taken aim at her former employers and colleagues at Loose Women as she criticised them for having her on the panel during a “bad, bad” time in her life.
Katie appeared as panellist between 2015 and 2018 alongside regular names like Nadia Sawalha, Ruth Langsford and Janet Street-Porter, but toward the end of her stint on the show she suffered from significant mental health issues.
Speaking on the podcast Changes with Annie Mcmanus, the mum of five said, “When I look back at that it makes me feel sick. Because those two years were bad – bad, bad, mentally.
“But I still went out there and put on a brave face. I look at it and think, ‘Oh my god. I look at my eyes on it and think I look dead in my eyes because all the drama came out'.”

In hindsight, Katie takes issues with the producers for “forcing [her] to perform like a seal” and continued, “I feel like saying to them, ‘You had me on your show when I was at my illest. But now I’m fresh you wouldn’t offer me [the job] again.’
“‘This is me now. You’ll get the best out of me now. You had me at my worst, you had me when mentally I was really going through it.’ Which is weird because some people wouldn’t have [had] you on the show.

Katie isn’t the only one to slam the ITV daytime show, with a number of guests including Kim Woodburn and Charlotte Crosby claiming they were 'bullied' when they appeared on the panel.
And last year, long-term panellist Saira Khan quit the show under seemingly acrimonious circumstances, saying, “I actually think there are other women on that show who have had their time and they need to renew and refresh,” she told new! magazine.
“I don't mean anyone in particular, to keep that show fresh and relevant you have to look around and you know when your time is up.”
