Robert Rinder – known to most as Judge Rinder – impressed judges and viewers last week with his cha cha.

Head Judge Len Goodman said: “You put the boy in flamboyant!”

And even Craig Revel Horwood admitted he had “good rhythm”.

Robert scored 25 in total getting a seven from Darcey Bussell, a six from Craig and also from Len and Bruno Tonioli – which the audience thought was too low.

Fans and ex-contestants of the show took to Twitter to praise his first dance:

However after watching back his performance, he opened up on It Takes Two about his facial expressions during his dance.

"I didn't know I did that until I just watched it back. I'm not quite sure what is going on,” he explained.

"We're preparing the American Smooth for next week's show so I'm trying to get this under control. Good Lord!"

And now the TV judge has revealed that props could be involved in his next routine.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Robert he caught dance partner Oksana Platero “searching for canes” online during training.

“I thought it was a prop for a routine. Now I’m not so sure,” Robert admitted.

“You don’t want to get on the wrong side of her. She is a force of nature and very strict.”

And he also revealed that he won’t be holding back if the judges aren’t fair in their comments.

“I haven’t ever held my tongue before,” Robert admitted.

We can’t wait!
