Love Island 2018 winner Jack Fincham has a new style icon and we're half intrigued, half confused and equal parts obsessed.
The ex-Islander took to his Instagram story to reveal his rather dashing designer sunglasses and, sorry but is this 1997? We feel like we are watching Frank Butcher and his gruff voice begging for forgiveness from Peggy Mitchell because he had it off with Pat Butcher again.
It is giving us all kinds of EastEnders energy.
Talking of EastEnders, who remembers when Jack's ex rocked up on his season of Love Island and told his current girlfriend, Dani Dyer, that Jack has posters of her dad and namesake, Danny Dyer, up in his room? What a time to be alive that was.
We think Jack was aiming for more modern London gangster when he showcased his statement sunnies to his followers as he uploaded a movie still of Tamer Hassan from his film The Business (which hilariously also stars Danny Dyer).
Brand new info for us down at Closer HQ as we always knew Tamer Hassan as the father of beauty queen and Love Island 2019 bombshell Belle "is it that deep?" Hassan, but apparently he’s also a rather famous actor who is known for iconic Brit flicks The Business (obv), Layer Cake and Football Factory (also starring Danny Dyer LOL).
Does Jack still have a little bit of an obsession with Danny (not Dani) Dyer? Not only are the photos from a film that features the actor and he is wearing sunglasses from said film that features the actor, but Jack also used the timeless tune Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds over the top of the video where he rocked his new favourite product.
We certainly haven't forgotten about you Jack and we're not sure anyone will after wearing this intriguing eyewear - including Danny (and also probably Dani) Dyer.
Showing off the gold rimmed aviators Jack told his followers, “They’re not coming off.”
We assume because he loves them so much and not because they are stuck on his face, as he continued, “I’ve had a couple of comments. Where they from? I ain’t telling ya.”
We love a challenge and as Jack zoomed in on the arm of the sunglasses he added, “There’s a little insight there, look.”
Look, we did. Nothing gets past us and the Essex lad might not want to share where he purchased his Frank Butcher-style specs but we are more than happy to.
