Honestly, part of us wonders why it has taken THIS long for a Liverpool based reality TV show to hit our screens. We already have TOWIE and Made in Chelsea, not forgetting Geordie Shore and of course an attempt was made with Absolutely Ascot, but it has taken until 2024 for telly execs to fully answer our reality TV dreams.
Saying that, who remembers the iconic show that was Desperate Scousewives? We could do with that making a comeback, tbh. Someone get Coleen Rooney on the phone, pronto.
The E4 commissioned series is aptly titled 'It's A Scouse Life' and whoever came up with the show name deserves a payrise immediately.
According to the official press release It's A Scouse Life 'offers an up-close and personal look at the ups and downs of one interwoven group of metropolitan Merseysiders as they juggle relationships, friendships and business in one of Europe’s most buzzing and distinctive cities.'
We have already managed to hunt down the 'interwoven group' on Instagram, because we are investigative journalists, don't you know?
The cast is made up of nine guys and girls including a footballer, saxophone player, Miss Liverpool and a singer.

It's A Scouse Life has been created by the brains behind Made in Chelsea and is set to air in November on E4, Tuesday 12 November more specifically, right after Married At First Sight UK.
The 60-minute pilot episode will see the likes of Melina, Ant and Rain enjoy a summer of 'mates, dates and frenemies, as they 'thrash out their feelings against a backdrop of glitzy parties, glamorous residences, and Liverpool’s iconic sights.'
With that description we're half expecting to hear Kristen Bell's voice declare 'It's Gossip Girl here...' during the opening credits.
