It's well known that when the rich and famous head into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle their diet majorly changes.

Long gone are their takeaway nights and homemade chef meals and it's hello to a 'nutritious' feast of dishes including cow teats, cow anus, fish eyes and sheep penis.

Last year it was reported that James Haskell was 'wasting away' on the 700 calorie diet in the jungle.

James, who consumes up to 4,000 calories a day in order to maintain his buff physique, had a dramatic transformation during his time in the jungle.

Speaking to Extra Camp hosts Emily Atack and Joel Dommett via video link from camp, he said, "I never thought I would look at a menu and chose crocodile feet. We're still only getting 700 calories per day.

"We're literally scraping the barrel of discovering different ways of cooking rice and beans and trying to add some flavour.

"We're slowly wasting away, but wasting away with dignity!"

Also during the 2018 series it was reported that the contestants lost a whopping FOUR stone between them.

At the time a jungle source told The Sun, "It’s been a really tough week for the campmates, especially with the lack of food and hunger. They have noticed their body weight falling off.

"We believe between them the campmates have lost around four stone. What the celebs are eating is very healthy, from veg to meat protein and fish and that is absorbed quickly by the body."

Following a boring diet of beans, rice and questionable meats it's perhaps not much of a surprise that the weight drops off. Emily Atack revealed to campmate Noel Edmonds that she couldn't wait to get some chips down her when she left.

Talking to him about a pair of her trousers she said, "These were tight when I came in here.

"I just want to lose a bit of weight so that when I get home and it’s Christmas I have a bit of room and can put it back on again. I love food so much, I love cheese and champagne and salads, fries, yum."

Amen to that, Emily.
