But before becoming a household name, the hilarious pro-TV watcher managed to get herself in some serious trouble.
The 54-year-old star this week revealed that in 1984, she was convicted of fraud and served a six month sentence at Drake Hall prison in Staffordshire.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Sandra admitted, “It was a very long time ago and I deeply regret it. I’ve turned my life around since then and have put this behind me.”
Channel 4 gave a statement to the Sunday paper and said they had known about Sandra’s conviction since she joined the series.
A C4 official said, “We do not commented on the private lives of individuals. We have been aware of Sandra’s spent convictions since we began filming with her, which relate to non-violent offences.”
Sandra has starred in the show ever since it began, joining at the same time as I’m A Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt.
