Speaking to camp mate Vanessa White, Toff opened up about her recent break-up – confirming the split after recent rumours she was still secretly dating James – and revealed how it's affected her confidence.

The subject came up when Vanessa asked Toff what her New Year's Eve plans were.

"I was meant to be going to South Africa with my ex-boyfriend but we broke up," she responded.

“I’m okay, I've thought about it, but I wanted to use this time to get my confidence back up.”

"My confidence was knocked so much, it happened so soon before I came in here.

"I thought I’m going to be away for so long no phone or anything and I want my confidence to come back I want to be exactly who I was before."

When the series first began, viewers thought there may be a show romance on the cards for Toff and YouTube star Jack Maynard, after picking up on their chemistry during their first task.

However, Jack was removed from the jungle after just three days when old tweets deemed racist and homophobic resurfaced.

At the time Jack's spokesperson released a statement confirming his exit, explaining: "It would be better to bring him out of the show."

An ITV rep added: "Due to circumstances outside camp Jack has had to withdraw from the show."

Jack has since issued an apology on his YouTube channel.
