The #GBBO Twitter feed did not disappoint with last night's return of the UK's favourite baking contest
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith were left red faced when baker stay-at-home dad Dan Beasley-Harling presented his 'selfie' biscuit to them in the opening episode of this year's GBBO.
The sentiment behind the design was sweet: it was supposed to resemble the time he travelled to Palm Springs to meet his surrogate baby.
Super cute, right?
But people in the tent - and at home - had VERY different ideas of what he was holding in his arms in the biscuit's design.
Fellow baker Kim-Joy was the first to question it, before Paul compared it to a 'prawn'.
Fans quickly took to Twitter with their HILARIOUS takes on the showstopper design:
One viewer said: "That. Is. Not. A. Baby. 🤦♀️ #GBBO"
Another said:"Phallic looking bake already achieved week one #GBBO"
And India Knight joked: "Here I am in the garden, cuddling a penis. #GBBO
Poor Dan wasn't the only contestant to bake up a controversial selfie biscuit. Terry gave viewers nightmares with his creative yet ever-so-slightly creepy 3-D selfie.
One fan said: "Never been more terrified of a biscuit in all my life. #GBBO"
And others compared it to Phoebe Buffay's 'Gladys' artwork in Friends:
Manon Lagreve won Star Baker with her practically perfect in every way creations, and it was Imelda McCarron who was given the boot in the first week despite delivering this masterpiece:
