Danielle Armstrong left TOWIE last year following the breakdown of her relationship with James Lock

TOWIE fans will be happy to hear that Danielle Armstrong is returning to the ITVBe show.

The 29-year-old reality star confirmed the news on Instagram. She posted a photo of herself looking VERY glam in a gorgeous red velvet dress. She wrote alongside the image: "For One Night Only I'M BACK 👻🎃😈#towie #happyhalloween#onenightonly #surpriseparty #shock#awkward #tuneinnextweek"

We reckon some of the TOWIE cast members will be surprised about her return as Danielle wrote 'shock' and awkward' in her Instagram caption.

Even though Dani is only returning for one episode, hundreds of her followers rushed to comment their excitement underneath her photo. One person wrote: "Omg yessss the queen is back"

Someone else said: "Wow it’s gonna be awkkkward 😬😬 love dani in towie though 😆👌🏽"

Another commented: "Bring that drama baby girl 😜"

Someone else gushed: "Oh no don’t come back just for 1 night, come back permanently, we need a bit of drama 😂"

One more added: "Yay!!! Doesn't feel right without you on Towie come back for good!! 🙏

Last year it was announced that Dani was leaving the show following her breakup with James Lock. At the time, a source told the Daily Star: "She is struggling to get over James and doesn't think she'll be able to do that while they are constantly filming scenes together.

"She wants to find the one, marry, settle down and have children and she knows there is no chance of that happening if she hasn’t' moved on from James first."

Since leaving the show, Dani has moved onto her new boyfriend Dan Spiller and Lockie is now dating Yazmin Oukhellou. We wonder how awkward things are going to get when Dani and Yazmin are reunited on set.

Earlier this year things kicked off between the girls following a row in Sheesh. Speaking about the night, Yazmin told OK! magazine: "Danielle started dancing like a zoo animal in a cage. People were laughing but I ignored her.

"Then I went to the loo and as I came back she elbowed me, so I turned back around and said: 'What’s your problem?' Then it just kicked off and words were said."

Since then the pair have both moved on and agreed that things were blown out of proportion, with Dani adding: "If we were to ever see eachother it will be cool x"

Guess we'll all find out on TOWIE this week if the pair have moved on from the drama.
