This little fellow- also known as a Namaqua rain frog- was spotted by wildlife enthusiast Dean Boshoff as he explored a South African sand dune.
Speaking about the discovery, Dean said: "I came across this little frog early one morning. While walking on the sand dunes I was alerted to the frog’s presence with its peculiar call.
"I knelt down and after photographing it just thought I had to make a video of its peculiar method of defense, as no one back home would believe me if I tried explaining it to them."
