Strictly judge Craig has said the show will be ‘better without’ Brendon, who should ‘be grateful’ for the platform.
Sharp-tongued Craig Revel Horwood isn’t exactly known for holding back when it comes to dishing out criticism on Strictly Come Dancing, and he’s often been accused of overstepping the mark in the shade-throwing stakes.
On the show, he often clashed with hot-tempered dancer Brendon Cole, who regular disputed the judges’ decisions and scores.
After announcing his decision to quit the show in back in January, Brendon has seemingly fallen victim to Craig’s acid-tongue once again.
“More fool him,” Craig said of Brendon and the BBC’s decision not to renew his contract.
Speaking to The Mirror, he continued: “The show’s done him wonders. It’s done us all wonders. It’s been fantastic.
“How many dancers in their life get a job that will last 15 years? Not many. Be grateful.”
Brendan was visibly upset on Lorraine in January when he revealed BBC bosses had chosen not to renew his contract.
Telling Lorraine that it was "hard to talk about", he added: "I’m a little bit in shock. I’m quite emotional, a bit raw about it.
"I’m disappointed. It’s very hard to talk about. It’s a recent decision."

It had apparently been long decided that Craig, who is a friend of Camilla's, would dance with her while the other dancers on the show paired up with guests.
This may have fueled further tension between the pair.
A senior Strictly source told the publication that all the dancers had been given "an extremely clear briefing.
