Craig Revel Horwood thinks his former fellow Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman will beg to return to the show after a year.

Len has now retired from the BBC ballroom dance contest after last night’s final but Craig thinks he will miss the programme too much to stay away.

He told the Sunday Mirror: “He’ll be at home, burning with desire to return soon. He won’t be able to stand seeing someone else in his seat.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if, after next year, he wants to come back. He’ll say, ‘No, no, no. I want to play golf. I don’t want to do that.’

“Then he says, ‘Oh, OK, I’ll do one weekend.’ Then that turns into the whole run.”

Len may have decided to end his time on the UK version of the show but he will continue to work on the American version.

Craig added: “He likes working. He’s still doing Dancing With The Stars, although it’ll be more relaxed because him and wife Sue won’t have to keep coming back for Strictly.

“Then they can make a long holiday of it. He’s still got lots of other projects.”
