There’s been so many TOWIE romances over the years that you’ve probably forgotten about some of the more obscure, short-lived couples.
We’re talking about the likes of Lucy Mecklenburgh and Dan Osborne, Ella Rae Wise and Tom McDonnell and Bobby Norris and Matt Snape, as well as Chloe Sims and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell.
If that last one isn’t ringing any bells, allow us to refresh your memory. Chloe and Gatsby’s friendship turned romantic at the end of 2016 when they enjoyed a fling over Christmas, but Chloe left Gatsby devastated called time on their short-lived relationship. The pair then fell out after Gatsby made some cutting remarks about Chloe and didn’t speak for months until he apologised.
Chloe and Gatsby have been back on good terms for years now and recently reunited in LA after they both made the move Stateside to pursue new career opportunities. Their reunion was even caught on camera and aired on the latest episode of House of Sims.
Gatsby was seen attending Charlie Sims’ fiancée Georgia Shults’ bachelorette party – which was organised by Chloe – and he didn’t waste any time getting in among the drama as he grilled Chloe on her fallout with her sisters Frankie and Demi.
“Is Demi and Frankie coming? Have you sorted it out?” Gatsby quizzed former flame Chloe, who revealed that she had invited her sisters but was “regretting” it – just moments before they arrive… awkward.
During their time together, Chloe and Gatsby grew close to each other's families, so it was lovely to see the eldest Sims sister and her daughter Madison get together with Gatsby's mum Nikki in LA back in December 2022.
Chloe captured the sweet moment on Instagram and shared the video with her followers. The clip was reposted by Gatsby, who added the caption, "Madison & my Mum reunited in Beverly Hills 😍."
We're not crying. You are.
Nikki has made a number of appearances on TOWIE over the years since Gatsby joined the cast in 2015, but left Essex behind for a new life in the States in 2017.
Gatsby continued to appear on the show until earlier this year when he announced he too would be leaving Essex and joining the rest of his family in LA following his split from Dani Imbert.
