In a video uploaded to Facebook by shocked mum Lyndsey Mann, 25, Chris is seen singing: "Imagine you're a fluttering kite."

However, it seems like he's saying something COMPLETELY different. Have a look for yourselves:

The post quickly went viral, clocking up over 10,530 shares and nearly 800 comments as parents debated the seemingly blatant use of bad language on one of the nation's most popular kids shows.

Explaining her shock to The Sun, Lyndsey said: “I wasn’t really taking any notice of what was on the telly, which was on while I was tidying up, but then I just heard that word, so I rewound the show because I couldn’t believe it.

“And then every time I replayed it, I just couldn’t hear anything but that word.

“At first I thought it was really funny because it was just a shock, but if my little girl who’s two starts saying that in public it’s going to make me look really bad, so it’s upsetting and quite annoying – she wouldn’t know any difference."

And despite Lyndsey writing on CBeebies official Facebook page demanding answers, the channel deny that the curse word was ever said.

The official CBeebies Facebook page wrote back: “It’s a kite everyone, kite! We make shows for your little ones so it’s always going to be kite.”

TV presenter Katy Hill even waded in on the row, tweeting: “I know @realchrisjarvis sails close to the wind (!) but he totally said KITE! #flutteringkite #justsayin'”

This is definitely dividing opinion on social media – what do you think?
