Love Island’s Amy Hart, RHOC Tanya Bardsley and TOWIE’s Kelsey Stratford are just some of the big names taking part in a new TV show called Celebs Go Skating.

Though little is known so far about what the show actually entails, it’s Instagram bio describes itself as “the show where your favourite celebrities talk hot topics, with cold bottoms.”

Also getting involved is Dancing on Ice professional Alex Murphy, who took to her Instagram to share her excitement over the new concept, which is set to air in winter 2021.

Sharing a series of pictures of herself at the skating rink on her own Instagram, Amy Hart, who’s been doing the reality TV rounds since her stint on Love Island 2019, appearing on Celebs Go Dating and currently starring on Ex on the Beach spin-off Ex in the City, said, “Kat Slater goes Skater...⛸ So I’ve always had so much respect for all the professional ice skaters and celebs who have trained in skating, but after today I have sooo much more respect for them!

“Having said that, I had so much fun and am defo (maybe) gonna start lessons! Thanks to @almurph18 and the gang for a fab day.”

However not everyone was so excited about a new skating show hitting out screens with one writing, “How is this even fair for all of us skaters that aren’t allowed to train but it’s okay for entertainment purposes?”

“This is quite disrespectful to us athletes that currently can’t skate, I’m guessing you mean no harm, but it’s really upsetting to see this,” said another.

“I’m currently missing my training, which is not just my pride and joy, but also my coping mechanism, due to Boris classing it as ‘entertainment’. Not the nicest thing to see that people in the spotlight can just go and have a nice skate..”.
