We all thought it was just another Friday on Loose Women.
But, as it turns out, it was the most loved up episode of the ITV show ever!
Dan Evans, who starred in Channel 5’s survival show 10000BC, appeared on Loose Women, alongside Vicky Pattison, today to give his side of the story.
The 27-year-old, who shot to fame on the show which takes 24 participants from 21st century Britain and challenges them to survive Stone Age conditions in the height of summer in Bulgaria, became sick after eating clams that had been caught by his Cray Tribe.
He was struck down by a severe bout of food poisoning, which caused him to find it difficult to breathe - and he was rushed to hospital.
Speaking on the show, he admitted that he thought he was dying, and that he had an ‘epiphany’ at that moment.
Realising he wanted to be with his girlfriend, Natasha, of 8 years, whom he had recently broken up with, he made sure to rush home and tell her he loved her as soon as he was done with his time on 10000BC.
But he hadn’t officially asked her back out yet - which was causing Tash to tell people (jokingly) that she was still single.
The Loose Women panellists asked him if he had something he wanted to say to Tash, and Dan smiled as he stood up, slipping a hand into his pocket.
The reality hunk rushed over to Natasha, sitting in the audience, and got down on one knee.
Cue gasps throughout the entire studio.
N’awww!!!
Tash burst into tears of happiness, wrapping her arms around Dan’s shoulders and pressing her forehead against his.
And, after a few moments, he couldn’t help himself.
“Is that a yes then?” he asked hopefully.
Yes Dan, it’s a yes!
Tash later told the Loose Women that she has now forgiven Dan for splitting up with her temporarily (fair enough!), and that she loves her new engagement ring.
And Dan? Well, he just couldn’t stop grinning.
Bless them.
Was this the cutest ever moment on Loose Women?
