Being on TOWIE can really take you places, just look at Mark Wright, Chloe Sims and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell who all launched successful careers in LA after making it an Essex.
And now it’s been revealed that another reality star who previously appeared on the ITVBe show has made it big after landing a job dressing style icon and fitlord former footballer David Beckham.
Jake Hall, who starred on TOWIE between 2015 and 2016 alongside then-girlfriend Chloe Lewis, has worked in fashion ever since leaving the TV world behind and his recent venture is seriously impressive.
Taking to Instagram in November last year, Jake announced that David Beckham wore clothes he’d designed in a campaign for his eyewear brand.
“Incredible to see my designs on the campaign video for @dbeyewear what a incredible achievement for me,” Jake wrote alongside a video of the ad.
“Thanks to @davidbeckham for always looking the man.”
Jake’s fans were quick to congratulate him in the comments section, including one who wrote, “You’ve managed to make the coolest man alive look even cooler!!! 🙌 👏 Well done, now add some women’s clothing to your collection! @jakehall 👍🏻 x.”
Another remarked, “That's SO cool,” while a third commented, “You must be so proud xxx.”
Jake launched his clothing brand, By Jake Hall, last year after his previous company Prévu.
Speaking about the “tough” setback, Jake previously said, “I didn't really know where I stood. It was a really tough time for my mental health and caused a lot of stress, worry and disappointment, and I think the best way to come back from something like that is to bounce back.”
He told Drapers, “I don't want to dwell on sadness - I want to think about the positives and try to move forward.”
Well, having your clothes worn by David Beckham is definitely one hell of a bounce back. Congrats, Jake.
