Andy Carroll and Billi Mucklow’s divorce is already getting messy, just weeks after the footballer and TOWIE star revealed that their marriage had ended after they secretly separated in the summer.
Andy, 35, may have dated reality star Billi, 36, for 11 years, but the former Liverpool striker appears to have very quickly moved on. Reports emerged claiming that he’d grown close to Lou Teasdale, 41, a close friend of Harry Styles who worked as a make-up artist on The X Factor.
The pair are said to have met at Glastonbury this summer, with Lou reportedly visiting Andy in Bordeaux, where he plays for French side FC Girondins de Bordeaux, just after the divorce was announced.
And last week, the pair went on holiday together in Majorca to celebrate Lou’s birthday. There, they were pictured lying on sunloungers together, arms entwined as they soaked up some rays.
Back home in Essex, however, was a very unhappy Billi, who was going about life as normal on the school run with the couple’s five children. The pair share Arlo, nine, Wolf, seven, and Marvel, four, while Billi is also looking after Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 13, Andy's two children from his previous relationship with Faye Johnstone.
According to reports, the divorce could turn into a full-on ‘WAG war’, with battle lines being drawn among Billi’s Essex community as friends struggle to pick sides. Apparently, Billi is determined to keep their multi-million pound family home, which boasts its own football pitch and lake, in the divorce. The pair bought the Essex mansion in 2019 for £4.1m.
Billi and Andy tied the knot in 2022, despite him having been snapped in bed with two women on his stag do. Announcing their divorce last week, he told a newspaper that he and the former TOWIE star ‘privately separated earlier this year’, adding, ‘We are underway with our divorce proceedings. It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.’
It’s been reported that Billi was ‘blindsided’ by Andy’s announcement and the romance with Lou that was revealed just one day later. She’s said to be devastated to see him move on so quickly while she’s at home, raising the kids.
