Another name will be added to the Strictly Hall of Fame this weekend when the Strictly 2023 winner is announced. It’s a three-way race between Layton Williams, Ellie Leach and Bobby Brazier, with only one of them able to take home the iconic Glitterball trophy.
It’s certainly been a classic series of the BBC dance competition; with all the glitz and glamour you’d expect from the Strictly ballroom.
As usual, there’s also been romance rumours surrounding one couple and no, we’re not talking about the Strictly curse for once. We’re of course talking about the speculation that Ellie and her dance partner Vito Coppola are doing the rumba in the bedroom as well as on the dance floor.
Fans have been wondering if Ellie and Vito could be a couple thanks to the sizzling chemistry they share during their performances. However, while social media speculation has been rife, neither Ellie nor Vito have confirmed if they’re an item.
While they’re still not giving anything away, the pair have commented on the rumours ahead of the final. Well, kinda…
It turns out that Ellie and Vito are the only ones who haven’t read all the reports about themselves as, in a press conference with their fellow finalists, they admitted that they’d been too busy training.
Vito admitted, “We are so into the rehearsal all day. We have so many things to think about [in training] and after we finish, we have time to eat fast and after we nap a little bit because we need the energy to continue and after, we go home.
“We say, ‘Okay, let’s just make sure that we go to eat and we go to sleep’, because the next day we have to do it again. We are so focused on this beautiful experience.”
He added, “Words cannot describe how much we are enjoying every single day, every single second of this amazing Strictly experience.”
Speaking about the bond they’ve formed, Ellie said, “I think that obviously we’ve danced together for how many weeks now?
“Three months we’ve been together every single day and you really have to have a strong partnership to be able to trust in each other.”
