Singer Mel, 39, has reportedly approached her fellow Spice Girls and asked them to help her chose her final four contestants.

But sources are suggesting that former Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, 40, has thrown a spanner in the works.

Mel is apparently desperate to get the girls together in Cancun and thinks the four of them will really help her pick the strongest acts.

A source told The Sun: "All the Spice Girls have been approached to join Mel, as she thinks it would be great to have a reunion on the show.

"But Mel is realistic that it's a long way to travel and the other girls have commitments.

"Victoria has already indicated she won't be able to do it but Mel hopes at least on of the others will help her out."

If Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie C are also unavailable, it has been rumoured that Mel B has approached singer Jason Derulo to lend a hand.

While Mel has the boys this year, Louis will head to Bermuda with Tulisa and the groups, Cheryl and the girls are going to Nice with will.i.am and Simon is off to LA with Sinitta and the over-25s.
