The Italian is 39-year-old Mel’s only boy left in the X Factor and Simon, 55, doesn’t think he will go all the way.
He told the Daily Star: “I think he’s peaked. It’s the same thing week after week, the same silly faces.”
But a source revealed Mel is furious with Simon’s comments and thinks he’s out to sabotage Andrea.
They said: “She is out to get her revenge. Simon should be worried.”

Simon, of course, believes the final will include both of his remaining acts, adding: “I think it’ll be Fleur, Ben and Lauren.
“I’d like to see Stereo Kicks there. It would be a great final, but Lauren has the young girls voting for her.”

Meanwhile it looks like Lauren Platt may not perform on the show tonight.
She tweeted yesterday: “I would love to say I felt better guys but it’s not looking good, I hope I don’t disappoint you all.”
The contestants will all sing two songs in tonights show.
