X Factor: Former contestant insists THAT Mason Noise row was fixed

The latest episode of The X Factor saw Simon Cowell majorly lose his temper with one of the hopefuls – but was it all a set up?

During the boys’ six chair challenge, Mason Noise rubbed Simon, 56, up the wrong way by inviting the audience to film his audition, before complaining about the air time he received at Boot Camp.

Furious Simon asked: “Mason, what gives you the right to say that?”

Although Mason, 21, attempted to explain himself, Simon insisted he apologise to the crew.

But cocky Mason wasn’t having it and dropped his microphone before storming from the stage.

Now former X Factor flop Kitty Brucknell has claimed the whole thing was a set-up and Mason and Simon both knew exactly what was going to happen.

Writing in her column for the Mirror, Kitty said: “He’s an amazing performer and artist. I can actually see him selling out arenas, which makes me wonder what possessed him to behave in that way.

“All I can say is that something else must have happened backstage that we didn’t see. Rumours can fly around on this show and things do get leaked…”

But Mason refused and stormed from the stage

It sounds like Kitty is trying to suggest she’s been told it was definitely a fix.

But, as we all know, Kitty, and other ex-contestants including Katie Waissel, will say pretty much anything X Factor-related between September and December to grab some much needed column inches.
