Fleur, 27, will compete against 29-year-old Ben Haenow tonight and, despite the fact they're both his acts, Simon, 55, allegedly wants Fleur no matter what.

A show insider told the Daily Star: "Simon made the decision to sign Fleur after last week's semi-final.

"He would love her to be crowned champion but he will give her a record deal whatever happens."

Simon himself hasn't exactly denied the reports either, admitting Fleur has the potential to become a superstar.

He said: "Based on what I saw last week, I'd have to say Fleur has the potential to be huge if she was given material as good as Uptown Funk.

"I've never seen such a reaction to a song in my life. It was unbelievable. The original is fantastic but what she did with it is incredible. It was almost perfection.

"She could sing and dance and put on a show and we haven't seen anyone like that in a long time."

The viewers obviously agree with Simon, as Fleur's rendition of the Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson track quickly shot to the top of the iTunes chart following her performance.
