Ah, Disney.

It’s been with us since our childhoods, reminding us to follow our dreams (and our hearts!) wherever we can.

So it makes sense that the world’s favourite song of all time is, in fact, an iconic Disney tune.

But if you thought that honour went to Frozen’s Let It Go, you’re WRONG!

Sorry Queen Elsa - you’re officially not as cool as you think you are.

As a matter of fact, the honour goes to one of the older Disney ballads… and it’s not sung by a princess at all.

So what’s the ditty?

Oh yes, we’re deadly serious.

The honour goes to the animatronic children who have been repeating the words to “It’s A Small World” for almost a century.

Can you believe it has been played more than any song in history on the radio?

We guess it really IS a small world after all.

If you’ve not heard the song before (and who are you people), then it’s a pretty repetitive one - although the message it shares is a powerful one of hope, love, and friendship.

Check it out:

It's A Small World (Lyrics)

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears

It's a world of hopes and a world of fears

There's so much that we share that it's time we're aware

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small, small world

There is just one moon and one golden sun

And a smile means friendship to everyone

Though the mountains divide

And the oceans are wide

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small, small world

According to the clever folk over at Think Exists{ =nofollow}t’s been played 50 million times since the ride first opened in 1966.

That means that the words ‘it’s a small world after all” have been uttered 400 MILLION TIMES!!!

We bet that The Sherman Brothers, who wrote the classic Disney song, are feeling pretty pleased with themselves right about now.

However, when it comes to the UK’s most popular Disney songs of all time, It’s A Small Word doesn’t get a sniff at the top 10.

Check it out…
