The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has FINALLY unveiled its first teaser trailer, which sees Plutarch Heavensbee (played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman) appoint Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) as the leader of a rebellion.

Cue a series of explosions in the Capitol, woodland battled, a sneaky first glimpse at Game Of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer's character, Cressida, and a huge Mockingjay crop circle.
A crop circle which, we're sure, will cause plenty of trouble, as President Snow has slapped a ban on the Mockingjay logo.

It's worth pointing out that, as a teaser, this is a prelude to a longer trailer which will be released this summer - which explains why we haven't been offered a single glimpse of Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), the third point in the franchise's love triangle.
Although that might have a little something to do with this…

Katniss herself only features very briefly at the one-minute teaser's finish, promising to fight President Snow's dictatorship as she walks though District 8.
