Kanye West recently said he never smiles because, uh, not smiling makes him smile.
But it seems his adorable daughter North also makes him flash his pearly whites, as we see in his new music video.
The 18-month-old stars in her daddy’s new video, for his latest track Only One and it’s Kanye West as you’ve never seen him before.
It looks like it was simply shot with a GoPro camera and features the dad and daughter duo on their own, walking on a rainy day.
Kanye and North are walking through a field holding hands, as Kanye singing words written from the point of view of his late mother Donda plays in the background.
One of the most touching scenes is North simply pointing to her father’s boots inquisitively.
Later, the obviously proud dad holds his baby girl in his arms and sings the lyrics to her.
It’s enough to remind you that Kanye isn’t one giant ego all of the time, especially when it comes to his family.
The 37-year-old premiered the video on The Ellen Show, and revealed how marriage to Kim Kardashian, 34, has mellowed him.
He said: “I have learned to shut up more. I think I’m a better human being because of [Kim] and my daughter.”
Interestingly, Kanye compared some of his famous outbursts to a toddler having a tantrum.
He said: “I think I was going through my version of my terrible twos. My daughter she wants to express herself but doesn’t have the words. For me, there’s so many things I want to do with film or with clothing, and I didn’t have the words or the resources or the backing.”
