Last month it was confirmed that Olly, 30, and 35-year-old Caroline Flack will be taking over from Dermot O’Leary, who has hosted the singing competition for eight years.

And, despite Olly recently revealing he’s nervous to be filling Dermot’s shoes, the new video confirms what we already knew: he’s a natural.

Everyone knows Essex boy Olly was once a contestant on the show, going on to become one of its most successful acts ever and selling over 10 million records.

Now he wants YOU to audition.

In the clip he says: “This year I’m back on The X Factor, and I want you to be part of it.

“Five years ago I made the decision to audition and it changed my life forever.”

As the video comes to an end, Olly is seen stepping onto a stage in front of thousands of screaming fans, showing just what the show can do for you if you’ve got ‘the X Factor’.

He asks: “What are you waiting for?”

Will you be auditioning for the show this year?
