But she was the one who was shocked in the end when the girl didn’t react quite in the way she expected.
When the little girl opened the present and discovered a pair of big pants, instead of throwing a tantrum she actually said she loved it.

Even better, she called it her ‘special present’. Now that’s what you call gratitude!
While the girl was really excited about her new pants, Jessi confirmed she did give her some other gifts for her birthday, including a Reese’s Cup and a new princess dress.

But, perhaps the most surprising thing, the little girl had the same reaction to every gift her mum gave her!
