Nick got the advert to be played during the US versus Portugal World Cup game last Sunday, completely shocking Nicole.

The clip shows Nick promising to always stay ‘tall, dark and handsome’ and to always ‘have a hot meal ready’, among other things.
Just to make sure this proposal was the best it could be, Nick got the help of an advertising agency.

He told ABC News: “I work for Time Warner, helping companies share their stories through TV commercials. ‘I could throw this together’, I thought.”
Just to make sure Nicole didn’t miss his masterpiece, he told her that would be appearing as an extra in an advert during the game.

When she eventually saw the proposal, Nicole was understandably speechless –she couldn’t even cry.
Nick added: “She didn’t cry because she was so shocked. I mean this girl will cry at a 30-second Google commercial, but she was just too shocked.”
