In the cute video, the little girl is crying and questioning whether or not her mum will be coming back to collect her.
Her new friend tries to calm her down, saying: “Yes. She definitely will.”

In a show of maturity from such a young boy, he adds: “When you wake up from your nap, she’ll be here.”
We can kind of understand why the girl is upset though: it’s her first day, she’s surrounded by strangers and there is no guarantee her mum was telling the truth when she said she’d be back.

Luckily for her then that the little boy was there to comfort her. Possibly the most adorable part of the video is when he tells her: “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you”, and then says: “Why don’t you nap next to me later, OK?”
We’re sure having the boy there made the little girl’s first day a whole lot easier, and we bet they became great friends.
