Since it was announced that a fourth instalment of Toy Story is to be released, fans have been speculating over what Woody, Buzz and co will get up to in the new film.
Director John Lasseter spilled some plot secrets in a recent interview, revealing that the new Toy Story film will be centred on a romance between Woody and Bo Peep.
He told CNBC: "It's something we've never done with Toy Story before. It's a love story with Woody - and this is news - Bo Peep."
“At Pixar and at Disney, we only make sequels if we come up with a story that’s as good or better than the original. That’s our rule. We don’t do things just to print money."
When the first film was released in 1995, audiences were given clues that Woody and Bo Peep had a slight attraction to one another.
Between Bo Peep’s flirting and Woody’s blushes, it was always obvious that there was more to their relationship than meets the eye.
After 20 years of lusting after one another, perhaps Woody and Bo Peep are about to get their happy ending?
The new film is sechduled for release in 2017, seven years after Toy Story 3.
The last movie made over a billion at the box office, making it one of the most successful animated movies of all time.
